Does the OT teach about Hell - as in a place to go after we die apart from God?
Yes!!!
And what is Hell? Hell is the separation from God.
Ezekiel 26:20-21 Down to the pit, Dwell in Earth below, You will not return to the land of the living, You will be no more.
Is it Hot in Hell? There are some questions to this effect. Deut 32:22 intimates it "For a fire has been kindled by my wrath, one that burns to the realm of Sheol below. It will devour the earth and its harvests and set afire the foundations of the mountains."
Isaiah 5:14 Therefore Sheol enlarges its appetite and opens its mouth without limit.
