NOTE:

Costa Rica is on Central Standard Time all year, Panama EST all year, Sask CST all year, India and Philippines also don't dance

Canada/USA 2021: DST (Daylight savings time) is March 14th to November 7th, 2nd Sunday in March to 1st Sunday in November. (only for those that observe DST) Yukon, Saskatchewan and North East and some other parts of BC don't switch. Parts of BC are on Alberta time. LLOYD is on Alberta time. (Note the relative importance of Alberta, parts of BC and Sask switch to Alberta time, none the other way around.)

Europe 2021: DST (Daylight savings time) time is March 28th to October 31st

Australia 2021: Standard time is April 4 no October 3rd

When you switch TO Daylight Savings Time, you LOSE an hour of sleep. You skip forward an hour. It is DARKER in the morning. The sun stays up longer at night.

When you switch to Standard time. You GAIN an hour. You 'fall back' an hour. You get to sleep an extra hour. It is BRIGHTER in the morning. The sun sets SOONER at night.

AEST/AEDT - The East coast of Australia, remember Daylight savings is during Christmas there

PhST - Philippines

IST - India

CET - Central European time (Note in our chart, we are showing the standard time)

UTC - Zulu time, Greenwich

EST - Toronto, Ottawa at Christmas, Panama all year

EDT - Toronto, Ottawa during the time of year when the sun stays out so late you don't need Daylight savings

CST CR - Costa Rica, Saskatchewan, and a bunch of others during Christmas

CDT - the same bunch of others, during the summer months, some states South enough it has some limited value.

MST/MDT - Mountain time, Alberta and some US States do this dance PST/PDT - Pacific time, much of BC, California etc..,
